The benefits of the NMSSA Annual Membership are now available to our referees with US Adult Soccer Association. Read below to learn more about how this benefit applies to you as a Referee. The cost is $26 once a year for each calendar year.
Supplemental Accident Insurance: If you are injured during an NMSSA sanctioned game, practice, tournament, or event you are eligible to file an insurance claim. Access to a Certified Athletic Trainer through the Wave on Health platform: This service is available to all referees in New Mexico.
Have a nagging injury that needs attention, but not sure where to go? ---> Make a telehealth visit with the athletic trainer
Interested in increasing your physical fitness or passing a fitness test? ---> Get workouts and insight from the athletic trainer
Maybe you are looking to recover faster or get advice about how to warm up before games? ----> The athletic trainer can help with this too

We are doing it differently this year by charging $10/game instead of an up front team fee!!

Region IV Amateur Cup 2026 - Men's Open and Women's Open

Format:
Men's Open 11v11 (90 minute games)
Women's Open 11v11 (90 minute games)
Roster:
Player pool of 30 max
Dedicated 18 determined for each game with starting 11 and 7 bench players
Single substitutions for Men's Open
-All players need to be registered in the Utah Soccer system to be verified by the Tournament Directors as affiliated with USASA prior to play. If players are not registered, they don't play. No last minute additions.-
**If a team uses 30 player pool going into the Regional Cup, they can only swap 5 players out for the National Amateur Cup.
**If a team uses <30 players going into the Regional Cup, they can add players to get to the 30 max for the National Amateur Cup.
Uniforms and Gear:
Players must wear matching jerseys with fixed numbers during the competition.
All players are required to wear shin guards.
No jewelry or watches.
Schedule:
Men's Open: 4 Groups of 3 teams. Each group will play 3 games of cross play against another group. A vs B and C vs D. Winners of each bracket will play a round of semi finals A vs D and B vs C. Winners of each semifinal game will play Sunday for a Final Championship Match. Teams will play 1 game on Friday, 2 games on Sunday, and have the potential to play 1 to 2 games on Sunday. Games start at 5pm on Friday. Championship match at 12pm on Sunday.
12 Teams = 3 game guarantee, with the addition of a semifinal and potential of the final (5 game maximum)
Women's Open: 2 Groups of 3 teams. Each group will play 2 games within their bracket and 1 cross play game, totaling 3 games each. A vs B. The winner of each group, based on a 10 point system, will play a 4th game on Sunday for a Final Championship Match. Games start at 3pm on Friday. Championship Match at 2pm on Sunday.
6 Teams = 3 game guarantee, with the addition of a Final Match (4 game maximum)
