Hello and welcome to ChiTown Bagger's winter drink-in-hand league at Recess! We have been running leagues, tournaments, and other events in Chicago for years. Come join an awesome and friendly community of baggers (aka friends). We can't guarantee every bag you throw will go into the hole. What we can guarantee is the best cornhole league experience in Chicago.

We are mixing things up for this Wednesday night bags league at Recess! This social night of bags still has all of the things that make our leagues great: high quality equipment, friendly commissioners, great prizes, drink deals, and an awesome community of baggers. This league will also include a mandatory drink-in-hand rule: you can only throw a bag with a drink in your other hand! It doesn't need to be alcohol. Water and NA drinks also work! You just need a cup with liquid in your non-throwing hand to level the playing field. Our aim is to give players a low pressure, fun, and relaxed space to play the great game of cornhole.

Here's the format:

Weeks 1-5: Regular season play. Four games guaranteed each night! There is also a raffle each week. Winners will receive a prize if their ticket is picked!

Week 6: Playoffs! You compete against teams for the championship and prizes.

Scheduling note: The league is scheduled to go from January 7th to February 18th. We will not play on January 28th due to an event at Recess. If a week needs to be cancelled due to a buyout, we will do our best to make up the week. This may result in the league ending later than planned. But we always do our best to stick to the initial timeline.

This league has a place for people of all skill levels and interests. We place teams into divisions based on their abilities. All you want to do is drink and fling bags? We have a division for you! Are you aiming to be the best and throw every bag in the hole? We have a division for you too! Grab a friend and sign up. None of your friends interested in playing? Then sign up as a free agent. We will pair you with other free agents or friendly teams to get you started.

Scheduling note: The league is scheduled to go from October 29th to December 17th. We will not play the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, nor November 12th due to an event at Recess. If a week needs to be cancelled due to a buyout, we will be unable to make up the lost week due to the Christmas and New Year holidays.

If you see the league is sold out, still sign up and join the waitlist! There is always a possibility a team drops out or switches nights. If you are on the waitlist we can reach out to you and add you to the league.
