Coed 4v4 Grass Volleyball – Competitive & Recreational Divisions

Divisions

• Competitive – A–BB level players looking for the highest level of competition the league offers

• Recreational – Open to all experience levels, including beginners; a basic familiarity with volleyball is all you need to jump in

Team Format

• All teams are coed with a minimum of one female player on the court at all times

• Please self-select into the division that honestly reflects your skill level — it keeps the league safe and fun for everyone

• Competitive division rules apply exclusively to that division

• Recreational division plays under standard league rules without advanced rule enforcement

Roster Size

• Up to 6 players per team

Player Requirements

• All players must be able to serve (overhand or underhand accepted) and maintain basic rally and passing skills

• Competitive players should be comfortable running structured 3-hit sequences

• All players are expected to know the rules for their respective division

League Makeup

• Both Competitive and Recreational divisions are open — the number of teams per division will be determined by registration

Match Format

• Each team plays 2 matches per night

• Each match consists of 2 sets, both played to 21 points (win by 2)

• There is no third set — matches always play out both sets regardless of the result of the first

Season Info

• 8-week season with playoffs included

• Game times will be determined based on final team registration numbers, but are expected to fall around 6:00, 7:00, and 8:00 PM

• Team captains are responsible for entering match scores after each night of play

• Weekly standings, music, food, drinks, prizes for top finishing teams, and end-of-season awards
