Get ready to hit the sand this summer with the Volley Vortex 4s Sand League — where competition, community, and fun come together! Our league is open to BB‑level and up players who love a good rally and great vibes.

Matches are played in a best‑of‑three sets format — the first two sets to 21 points (cap @ 23) and, if needed, a third set to 15 points (cap at 17).

We’ll follow standard beach volleyball rules, including no open‑hand tips, clean hand sets, and proper serve receive techniques. Games are self‑reffed, so honesty, respect, and sportsmanship are essential.

Join us for Open Play on June 11, perfect for free agents looking to find a team or just get some reps in before the season begins. The league officially starts June 28, kicking off eight weeks of exciting, competitive play under the summer sky.

League Overview

• Format: 4 on 4 Sand volleyball

• Coed (optional)

• Location: Cady Way

• Season Length: 8 Weeks (includes playoffs)

• Game Day: Sundays | 4PM - 7PM

• Arrival Time: Teams must arrive at least 20 minutes before their scheduled match.

• Open Play: one or two weeks before the League (based on your league)

• Change Roster: Second Week (Tuesday deadline)

• Subs must be listed on the official league roster or approved by the league coordinator before the match.

• No subs are allowed on Playoff/Champion Week 

🏐 Match & Playoff Format
Depending on the number of teams registered, pool play and playoff matches will be one set to 21 (cap at 23). The finals will be best of 3 sets to 21 (cap at 23). Adjustments to match length or structure may be made to ensure the event finishes within the scheduled time.

Team Captain

1. The Invitation: As a captain, After registering as a team, you use the League Linq platform to send an invite through email, text, or a shareable link to potential players. (your players use the link and click "individual" on the site and they might asked to put in the team's name)

2. Registration: They register as an individual player (or if they already have an account, they can accept the invite).

3. Payment: They pay their portion of the team fee, if applicable, directly through the platform.

Free Agents

Sign up as a free agent, and we’ll match you with the perfect team for our indoor volleyball league. If we’re unable to place you on a team, you’ll receive a full refund — no hassle, no stress, just volleyball fun!

Subs

• League Players Only: Only registered players within the current league may sub for other teams.

• No subs are allowed on Playoff/Champion Week
