Fall Season '26 Volley Vortex: Coed Indoor Volleyball League

Welcome to the Volley Vortex Indoor League — a fun, competitive environment for players intermediate+ of skill levels. Below are the key details and requirements for participation:

League Overview

• Format: 6v6 indoor volleyball

• Location: The Well Activity Center | 110 Athletes Row, Apopka, FL 32703

• Season Length: 8 Weeks (includes playoffs)

• Game Day: Sundays | 11 AM - 2PM

• Arrival Time: Teams must arrive at least 20 minutes before their scheduled match.

• Play Time: 45 mins. time slot

• Open Play: one week before the League

• Change Roster: Second Week (Tuesday deadline)

• T-shirts: received on the 3rd week

Team Captain

1. The Invitation: As a captain, After registering as a team, you use the League Linq platform to send an invite through email, text, or a shareable link to potential players. (your players use the link and click "individual" on the site and they might asked to put in the team's name)

2. Registration: They register as an individual player (or if they already have an account, they can accept the invite).

3. Payment: They pay their portion of the team fee, if applicable, directly through the platform.

Sign up as a free agent, and we’ll match you with the perfect team for our indoor volleyball league. If we’re unable to place you on a team, you’ll receive a full refund — no hassle, no stress, just volleyball fun!

Subs

• League Players Only: Only registered players within the current league may sub for other teams.

• No subs are allowed on Playoff/Champion Week 

Eligibility:

Subs must be listed on the official league roster or approved by the league coordinator before the match.

Team Requirements

• Roster Size: Minimum of 6 players; maximum of 8 players per team.

• Gender Requirement: Each team must have at least one female player on the court at all times. (even when using subs.)

• Teams may start a match with a minimum of 4 players, but must meet the gender requirement to avoid a forfeit.

• Substitutions are allowed between points or during dead balls with referee approval.

Match Format

• Best of 3 sets (rally scoring). | 1 Game Per Week

• First two sets: 25 points, win by 2 (cap at 27).

• Third set (if needed): 15 points, win by 2 (cap at 17).

• Teams switch sides after each set.

League Rules

• Players must rotate positions after each side-out.

• Overhand and underhand serves are allowed.

• Net violations and lifts will be called by referees.

• Unsportsmanlike conduct may result in penalties or disqualification.

Standings and Playoffs

• Teams earn 2 points for a win, 1 point for a loss, and 0 points for a forfeit.

• Playoff seeding is based on overall record, set differential, and point differential.

• Top teams advance to the championship round.
