Adult Coed 5v5 League Rules
Team Format
Games are played 5v5 including the goalkeeper.
A minimum of 2 female players must be on the field at all times.
Teams may start with a minimum of 4 players.
Game Duration
Two 22-minute halves.
3-minute halftime.
Running clock unless stopped by the referee for injuries or major delays.
Substitutions
Unlimited substitutions.
Substitutions may occur on the fly or during stoppages with referee approval.
Kick-Offs
All kick-offs are indirect.
Opponents must remain at least 5 yards away.
Goalkeeper Rules
Punts and drop kicks are not allowed.
Sliding
No slide tackling allowed.
Sliding to save a ball from going out or to block a shot without contact may be allowed at referee discretion.
Dangerous slides will result in a foul or card.
Fouls & Discipline
Standard FIFA fouls apply.
Yellow card = 2 min in the penalty box(Your team plays with a player down)
Red card = player ejection and possible suspension.
Excessive arguing, fighting, or unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated.
Free Kicks
Defenders must give 5 yards.
Ball Out of Play
Kick-ins replace throw-ins.
Mercy Rule
Running clock may be applied if a team leads by 12+ goals.

Win = 3 points
Tie = 1 point
Loss = 0 points

Sportsmanship
Respect referees, opponents, and facility staff at all times.
Teams are responsible for their spectators.
No Corner Kicks
There are no corner kicks in league play.
If the defending team intentionally plays or clears the ball into the back netting/end net behind their own goal, possession will be awarded to the opposing goalkeeper.
End Line / Defensive Possession Rule
If the ball goes out off a deflection, rebound, or accidental touch near the end line, possession will be awarded to the defending team’s goalkeeper.
Goalkeepers must restart play within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the referee.
Coed Scoring Rule
A female player must touch the ball during the attacking possession before a goal can be scored.
If a goal is scored without a female player touching the ball during that possession, the goal will not count and possession will be awarded to the opposing goalkeeper.
Deflections or accidental touches do not count at referee discretion.
League Administration
The league reserves the right to modify schedules, rules, or disciplinary actions when necessary for league operations.
Not cleats allowed at any circumstances
