However, if you are already part of a team with a Captain who will sign up the entire team, you do not need to register individually - your Team Captain will invite you via an email from the league's website.

LEGACYLEAGUES PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT, WAIVER & RELEASE


Including Mandatory ACSA Membership & Governance Acknowledgment


Effective Date: Upon Registration


By registering for participation in a LegacyLeagues Enterprises, Inc. (herein referred to LegacyLeagues)event, season, or program, I acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. Mandatory ACSA Membership

LegacyLeagues operates under the sanctioning authority of the Adult Competitive Sports Association (ACSA).


Participation in LegacyLeagues requires mandatory membership in ACSA.

By completing registration:

  • I acknowledge that ACSA membership is required.

  • I agree to comply with all ACSA governance standards, eligibility requirements, discipline procedures, and appeals processes.

  • I understand that ACSA authority supersedes local league discretion in matters of eligibility, discipline, and competitive integrity.


ACSA’s publicly available governance framework may be reviewed at:
www.acsagovernance.org


I understand that full member materials and access credentials may be issued after registration and payment confirmation.


Failure to maintain active ACSA membership may result in suspension or removal without refund.

2. Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in competitive athletic activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Physical injury

  • Permanent disability

  • Death

  • Property damage

  • Collisions with other participants

  • Facility or equipment conditions

  • Acts or omissions of officials, staff, or other players

I voluntarily assume all risks, known and unknown, associated with participation.

3. Release of Liability

I release, waive, and discharge LegacyLeagues, ACSA, their officers, directors, operators, regional anchors, employees, officials, sponsors, venue partners, affiliates, successors, and assigns from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, damages, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation, including claims arising from negligence to the fullest extent permitted by law.

4. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless LegacyLeagues, ACSA, and all affiliated entities from any claims or damages arising from my conduct, participation, or violation of league rules.

5. Code of Conduct & Discipline

I acknowledge that LegacyLeagues maintains a published Code of Conduct and operates under ACSA disciplinary standards.

I understand that violations may result in:

  • Technical fouls

  • Suspensions

  • Expulsion

  • Forfeiture of fees

  • Permanent ineligibility


I understand that disciplinary removal does not entitle me to a refund.


ACSA reserves the right to impose discipline that supersedes local operator decisions.

6. Competitive Integrity & Eligibility

I affirm that all information provided during registration is accurate and truthful.

I understand that misrepresentation of:

  • Identity

  • Playing history

  • Eligibility status

  • Age

  • Suspensions

may result in immediate suspension and forfeiture of all fees.

7. Medical Representation

I certify that:

  • I am physically fit to participate.

  • I have not been advised by a medical professional to refrain from competitive athletic activity.

  • I assume full responsibility for my medical condition and health insurance coverage.


LegacyLeagues and ACSA are not responsible for medical expenses.

8. Media & Likeness Release

I grant LegacyLeagues, ACSA, their affiliates and subsidiaries, sponsors, broadcast partners, and media representatives the irrevocable right to photograph, film, record, stream, reproduce, and distribute my name, image, likeness, voice, and performance for promotional, commercial, archival, and broadcast purposes without compensation.

This includes:

  • Social media content

  • Highlight reels

  • Live streams

  • Sponsor integrations

  • Commercial advertisements


I waive any right to inspect or approve final media content.

9. No Employment or Professional Representation

I understand that participation in LegacyLeagues does not constitute:

  • Employment

  • Agency representation

  • Professional contract evaluation

  • Guaranteed exposure to professional scouts or organizations


LegacyLeagues is a competitive platform, not a professional sports agency.

10. Payment Acknowledgment

I acknowledge and agree to the LegacyLeagues Payment Policy.

I understand that:

  • Registration secures roster placement and operational commitments.

  • Refunds are governed by published policy.

  • Suspension or expulsion does not entitle me to a refund.

11. Arbitration & Venue

Any dispute arising from participation shall be resolved through binding arbitration in the State of ALABAMA, in accordance with applicable arbitration laws. I waive the right to trial by jury.

12. Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

13. Acknowledgment & Agreement

By completing registration and submitting payment, I acknowledge that:

  • I have read and understand this Agreement.

  • I understand that ACSA membership is mandatory.

  • I voluntarily agree to all terms.

  • I understand this is a legally binding release of liability.


RELEASE / DISCLAIMER

I do hereby assume full responsibility for any and all damages, injuries (including death), or losses that I may sustain or incur, if any, while attending, engaging, practicing, participating or witnessing activity and/or certain event(s) occurring in or about the premises or at any offsite location. I hereby assume full risk, waive all claims and release and hold Adult Competitive Sports Association, individually or otherwise, harmless for any and all liability, claims, suits, damages, expenses, fees, actions, or rights of action or judgments as a result of injury or death to myself or members of my family or heirs, or my guests, or damage, destruction or loss to my property, which in any way relates to, arises out of, or is in any way connected with my presence on the premises, or my participation in events of activities thereon, or the negligent acts or omissions of the releases or any other third party.


I agree to wear all protective equipment required while participating in the activity, and I am fully aware and understand that Adult Competitive Sports Association does not have on or about the premises, or employ or contract with any medical services, provisions for ordinary or emergency medical services.

In consideration of my participation in and the use of the Adult Competitive Sports Association premises or facilities, I hereby release and covenant not to sue the owner of the premises (releases), shareholders, directors, officers, employees, representatives, agents, affiliates and lessees from any and all claims resulting from any physical injury that may occur to me while participating in any program or event sponsored by Adult Competitive Sports Association.

I HAVE READ AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THE ABOVE RELEASE/WAIVER AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING THIS WAIVER VOLUNTARILY.

Team payment policy

Effective Immediately


LegacyLeagues operates structured, scheduled seasonal competition. Registration secures roster placement, scheduling, officials, facility time, and operational commitments. For that reason, all payment policies are firm and consistent across markets.

1. Registration & Payment Requirement

  • Full payment is required at the time of registration unless a payment plan option is explicitly offered.

  • A player’s roster spot is not guaranteed until payment is successfully processed.

  • Registration closes once roster capacity is reached.


LegacyLeagues does not hold unpaid spots.

2. Payment Plans

If a payment plan is made available:

  • The first installment is due at registration.

  • Remaining installments are auto-drafted on scheduled dates.

  • Missed payments may result in:

    • Immediate suspension from participation

    • Removal from roster

    • Ineligibility for postseason play

    • Collection of remaining balance


Failure to complete payments does not void financial responsibility.

3. Refund Policy

Because LegacyLeagues commits to facilities, officials, staffing, media production, and insurance in advance, the following refund structure applies:


Before Schedule Release

  • Refund requests may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

  • A non-refundable administrative fee may apply.


After Schedule Release

  • No refunds.

  • No credits.

  • No transfers.


After Season Begins

  • No refunds for:

    • Injury

    • Schedule conflicts

    • Relocation

    • Voluntary withdrawal

    • Suspension or disciplinary removal


Roster spots are assets of the season structure and cannot be re-sold once committed.

4. Team Withdrawals

If a registered team withdraws:

  • All registration fees are forfeited after schedule release.

  • If withdrawal occurs prior to schedule release, an administrative fee will be retained.

  • Teams remain responsible for any unpaid balances.

5. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting LegacyLeagues administration constitutes a violation of league policy.


LegacyLeagues will:

  • Provide signed registration agreements

  • Provide payment confirmation

  • Provide this published policy as evidence


Fraudulent or bad-faith disputes may result in:

  • Permanent suspension

  • Collection efforts

  • Ineligibility from all affiliated markets

6. Postseason Eligibility

Players must:

  • Be fully paid

  • Be in good disciplinary standing per ACSA

  • Meet participation requirements


Unpaid balances automatically disqualify postseason eligibility.

7. Market Cancellation Clause

If LegacyLeagues cancels a season prior to start due to insufficient registration or unforeseen operational circumstances:

  • Players will receive either:

    • A full refund, or

    • A credit toward the next season


This does not apply to player-initiated withdrawals.

8. Acknowledgment

By completing registration, participants acknowledge:

  • They have read and understood this Payment Policy

  • They agree to its terms

  • They understand registration secures operational commitments that are not reversible once scheduled
