Coed 6v6 Sand Volleyball – Intermediate/Recreational Level Volleyball

Levels
Recreational:
Open to players of all skill levels, including beginners. Players should have a basic understanding of volleyball, be able to serve (overhand or underhand), and pass. Advanced rules do not apply in this division. Focus is on fun, learning, and friendly competition.

Intermediate (BB–B level in Asheville):
For experienced sand volleyball players who can run 3-hit rallies, serve consistently, and are comfortable with (or learning) clean hand setting. Advanced rules are honored. Inexperienced players should not register and may be removed for safety reasons.

Team Requirements
Coed team play with balanced participation and good sportsmanship. Players must follow Highland Brewing League rules.

Team Size
6 players on the court
Up to 8 players per roster

Minimum Requirements
Recreational players must know basic rules, serving, and passing.
Intermediate players should demonstrate rally control, consistent serves, and knowledge of advanced play standards.

Makeup
Coed format (men and women playing together)

Scoring Format
Two matches per night
Each match consists of 3 games
• First two games to 21 points
• Third game to 15 points
Scoring mode: Sets/Matches

Season Details
8-week season including playoffs
Game times: 6:00 PM, 7:00 PM, 8:00 PM, 9:00 PM
Approximately 10 teams in each division are participating
