Advanced & Intermediate (skill-based divisions)

Team Requirements

Players must register at the appropriate skill level:

Intermediate (BB–B level in Asheville)

• Experienced sand players

• Able to run 3-hit rallies

• Consistent serving

• Comfortable with or learning clean hand setting

• Advanced rules are honored

• Inexperienced players should not register and may be removed for safety

Advanced (AA–BB level in Asheville)

• Highest level of play at Highland

• Strong mastery of rules and gameplay

• Clean touches, advanced serving, and hand setting are expected

• Advanced rules are fully enforced

• Inexperienced players should not register and may be removed for safety

Team Size

• 2 players per roster

Minimum Requirements

• Advanced or Intermediate skill level only

• Understanding of advanced sand volleyball rules

• Ability to maintain rally-style, controlled play

Makeup

• 10 Advanced Division teams

• 10 Intermediate Division teams

Season Details

• 8-week season (including playoffs)

• Game times: 9:00 am, 10:10, 11:20, 12:30 pm.

• Teams play two consecutive matches each day

• Each division's leagues rotate between AM and PM times
